Dog Training Programs

What is a Therapy Dog?

Therapy dogs are pet dogs who love meeting new people and have demonstrated a high level of obedience training. Therapy dogs and their handlers visit schools, hospitals, and nursing facilities, as well as special events and college campuses.

What is a Service Dog?

Service dogs are highly trained to perform tasks that will allow a person with a disability to more easily function in their day to day lives. Service dogs are granted access in most, but not all, public places.

Service Dog Training Through Click! Pawsitive Family Pet Center

Click! Pawsitive Family Pet Center offers support and guidance to individuals who are endeavoring to train their own service animal. We provide support for dog selection, early socialization and foundational level skills. Dog/handler pairs who demonstrate the prerequisite skills may participate in both group and individual sessions for acquiring public access skills and task training.
